STEP can be customized to meet the needs of your school district. Traditionally, beginning at age 16, students who have completed their academics or have chosen to focus on employment are provided internships for several class periods each day. The school has the option to provide transportation, or they can contract STEP to provide affordable transportation to and from the job sites. Program length can range from an all day experience, to as little as a few hours, depending on the needs of the school and the student. We offer ESY which is the extended school year for the school districts. STEP is open to students and young adults with varying levels of ability.
